The parents of Tal Atid, co-founder of Flooret, open Tulip Hardwood Floors in the East Bay Area of Northern California.
Tal officially joins his parents’ flooring business and learns all the tricks of the trade.
A fortuitous meeting: Michael Maddux, another Flooret co-founder, enters the picture. He and Tal strike up a friendship that ultimately leads to the creation of Flooret.
Tal’s childhood friend, Devin Scott, and Michael’s colleague, Nathaneal Hartman, join the Flooret team as fellow co-founders.
